Will there be a new version of Links? |

Although MS produced a Links 2004, this was only for the XBox.
Now that MS has sold the rights for the Links series we will have to wait and see if TakeTwo produce a new version. We understand that this is in progress but have no hard news. Keep checking our forum for updates. |

I'm trying to play online but I can't connect. What's wrong? |

There are two common problems that affect online play.
Firstly you must ensure that any Firewall software you have running is allowing Links to listen for connections. Most firewalls ask if Links should be allowed to access the internet when you try and play online but sometimes this has to be set up manually.
If you connect to the Internet via a router you may have to 'open' some ports. The method varies from router to router and full details are outside the scope of this FAQ. However, the ports required for Links 2003 are as follows:-

Yes, but with a proviso.
There are issues with certain types of graphics cards.
There is a patch that nVidia users should install - more info here http://linkscorner.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26714
A lot of users have had problems using PC or laptops with Intel built in graphics systems. If possible, a separate graphics card should be used.
