Test for Posting Problem
It Appears that my responses in some forums are not appearing. This is to see if I am able to post a new subject.
I always wanted to write something intelligent in my signature. Now that I think about it, I guess I just did!
Re: Test for Posting Problem
Yep. Do you have some in particular that you question?
No matter where you go, there you are.

Re: Test for Posting Problem
Have been trying daily to post a reply to Stephen Sullivan's post of Jan 04 2025 in Microsoft Update 24H2 with no success. Maybe some one could try a test post to see if it is a universal problem. Maybe Andy restricted it to 7 pages for some reason?

Always make sure it says that your message was posted before you leave it. Sometimes the forum will time you out while you are writing the message, especially when it takes a longer time to write it, but then I think it always says in red text that your message was not posted and you can click to submit it again. I always press "Preview" before clicking "Submit" in order to avoid that issue. Same thing goes for private messages.

Re: Test for Posting Problem
Thanks Adelade for taking the time to reply:
You can see here that after 21 years of posting in Links 2003 Forums that I still have the knack (3 in a row!!!). However, you did get me thinking. The post I was sending to Stephen had copied Text from a 5 year old post that he directed me to to solve a problem I was having, and I was comparing that to what I was seeing in Windows 11 which was completely different. I'm going to redo the post without those two copied text comparisons and see if that makes a difference.
Cheers Dave

Adelade:
I was trying to show Stephen copied "Hot Key" info from 5 years ago (windows 8?) to copied "Hot Key" info from Windows 11. Apparently that is a "no no" . By deleting those copies and just noting that due to the lack of similarity in the data I was unable to initiate his instructions I was able to send him the post.
Cheers Dave
