Green Analyzer

Post by Titus »

Hello everybody,

I am always happy when a new golf course appears here. Now, for the first time, I have real problems putt.
Since I have a new OLED monitor, I don't know if it could be that.

At the new course - Long Lake Golf Club - everything is great until I hit the green.
I don't see any bars there, is that so bad with you too?

They are there, just really close to the same color as the green. There are a few courses like that, where the grid is not easily seen on the green. Best to use the break line indicator in those cases.

Hello
and thanks for your tip, it is very much appreciated.
I've never used the break line display and I don't know if that will help me.

Because when I play a course like this, it takes me twice as long as usual
and it's also not fun when you shoot simple putts past.

My problem is that I don't know how to get the yellow cast from the TGA green.

Here is an example of what I can do.

is not perfect, but it makes my laps faster and better.

if someone knows a better RGB setting, please contact us.

Compared to the original, just a little lower on the brightness scale (which Im guessing is the one above the RGBs - I dont know German) and a bit higher B (blue) to make it a less yellow hue should do it, you'd probably be surprised at how only a small change would make the difference.
Finished Courses - Main: Amedal (fictional), Nine Bridges (real)
Other: Austin, Sheshan, Kauri Cliffs, Le Golf Nat. Updates: Whirlpool, Royal Lytham, Royal St George's, Chicago, Chambers Bay, Munchen Nord E
Working on: 2 fictional courses + a couple things...

If you are having trouble seeing the grid lines try clicking on "use color coded grid" in game settings.

It doesn't get any easier as your eyes get older-----go to the break line indicator and never look back!

Hey guys,

you're funny, of course that has something to do with my age and my eyes don't get better either. When I couldn't work anymore after my copd illness, I started playing Links2003 more often. Unfortunately, I rarely hit the snap, sometimes I pushed too late or not at all. It's bad when the body doesn't do what you want it to. I then swapped all the hardware for links only. Now everything is better and I usually somehow get onto the green. It was probably just the frustration that almost no birdie putt worked.

I've tried all the suggestions now, but nothing really helps me
I don't want to play with the break line indicator, so just raise the flag and pray.

But there are so many other great courses here that I can play
and when I think about the fact that I used to only play the MS courses, this is like a links paradise. :clapping:

It's when the face in the mirror doesn't look like the face on your driver's license. Some of you may know what I mean!
