Des,
Changed as you requested and I still get the problem.
It does seem to be more difficult to find the location where the problem appears, or that might just be me.
At the first location I couldn't find a location where the line increased in width, like the second location.
Colin,
The seam blend where the cart tyre tracks meet the fairway is missing/broken.

Re: New South Wales Golf Club
In Links I press Shift F11 and change the setting to GPU and I can reproduce the problem as I move the ball around those areas.
Do a Shift F11 and set it to CPU and cannot reproduce it as I move the ball around.
The overlay allows you to temporarily change the settings (or it can write it to a separate config file that is read in sequence).
I'll continue to see if I can reproduce.

Re: New South Wales Golf Club
Guys can you tell me what CPU's you are using on the problem machines?
I am assuming you are all using the embedded Intel GPU.
The developer has been unable to reproduce the problem even with my saved file. It is thought it may be because we are using Pre Gen 12 CPUs, they have a different driver architecture. My notebook has a Gen 11 in it. I do have a latter Gen 13 system but it also has an Nvidia HBA in it.
I have found 6 locations so far and have saved each one. I will be going back and retesting with altered DDrawCompat settings to see if I still get the problem.

As I don't know I can offer you this: Hope this helps.I am assuming you are all using the embedded Intel GPU.

That tells me it is a Gen 10 machine, When Links is starting it should say the video at the bottom of the screen. Once started if you go into Options and then click on the System Info button at the bottom of the screen the video used should show in the resultant window.
That will say what Links is using.
The display you posted is saying you have multiple GPUs in the system, so it comes down to what Links is using.

It tells me you have a Gen 10 CPU and are using the embedded Intel GPU. So we both are using pre Gen 12 intel GPUs, which could explain why we see the problem and the developer does not on his latter system. The developer does not have an older Intel system so has said he will be unlikely to be able to address the issue.
I have so far identified 8 locations where I see the artifact when using VertexFixup = GPU, I saved each of these locations, In game you can switch between CPU and GPU using the hot key Shift F11 and changing the setting in the overlay.
After switching to CPU and reloading each saved location the artifact had disappeared. It will be interesting to see what results Colin gets.
The earlier display you provided implies you may also have an Nvidia CPU in your notebook as well, I have never seen a combined Intel CPU with an AMD GPU in the same notebook.
If you have, you may want to look a using that for Links, then you could dispense with any wrapper completely.

Ian,
If there is still some specific positions where you see the problem you can save the round a that point upload it and I am happy to see if it shows on my machine.

Des,
The laptop is supposed to have, and did have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti card but somehow I seem to have "lost" it.
(The adapter shows up on the Device manager, but on Links the NVIDIA does not show.)

Re: New South Wales Golf Club
Ian,
Notebooks are somewhat unusual. The Intel GPU is connected to the display so always acts as the display controller.
Graphics rendering however can be done either by the Intel or the Nvidia GPU, for graphic intensive tasks the system should switch to the Nvidia, but given Link's age the software is not going to tax anything so will not go into Nvidia mode on its own.
So to use Nvidia with Links on a notebook you have to force it.
As I understand it you use the Nvidia control panel to set specific settings for Links. You also use the Windows graphics settings to set which GPU Links is to use.
Links uses whatever GPU it is presented with.
My only notebook with two GPUs now runs Linux. It did run Windows 10 but I was unable to get the Nvidia working with anything. I have rebuilt that machine so many times I suspect I missed something, it was not a great priority until I picked up Links again, but by that time I was primarily using Linux on the machine.
