Kinloch Golf Club (Manakin-Sabot, Virginia)

Kinloch layout looks good. Only thing I immediately noticed is the greens. They are either way too severe or the hole locations are unusable. Three of the first six greens I played on random pins were putts that rolled back to where you started or worse if they didn't go in, from 20+ feet.

Playing no wind and moderate conditions I was 1 under after 5 (thought whew, tough course), but could not complete 6 as the green was unplayable (gave up at 12 strokes). Several practice holes at 6 proved no better. Hard to believe this is a real course.

The contours are 0.2 feet so no funny inches to decimal feet approximations for the APCD. They will be the correct size in the APCD when planar mapped at 174.00 uniform scale. I included the hole center lines from provisualizer so the greens can be rotated to match the hole definitions in this course file.

I havent testplayed and I havent looked through the greens much but I had seen that at least one of them seemed to have no reasonably pinnable spots, so I did figure something had to be done to at least some of them, the contour image files are extremely helpful - thank you.

My interest in working on the course is shaky though, since there is another version that might come out in a foreseeable future anyway. If someone lets me know they are willing to do the seamblending I will reconsider, but until then I think Im doing to hold off on this one, so I would say go ahead to AorGuy or anyone else (but no one else has announced interest so Im guessing there is no one at this point in time). If no other version has come out or is close to coming out after a year from now, and if no one has done anything with this version, I will likely revisit and pick it up, minus the seamblending.

I was going to work on Muirfield, but I still havent received it...
