I did realize that you were stealing the course away from me, but I tried to be respectful and not raise the roof about it. I stopped working on it, abandoning the 1 1/2 years of working on it while I waited to see how well you did with it. Lo and behold, though, you gave up on it. I tried to get others to do the course but no one would because YOU said you were going to do it! So my work was wasted, your word proved to be nothing more than a pipe-dream, and no one has the course to play! And no one else will do the course because of the dispute you created by shamelessly claiming it for yourself!Brandywine wrote: ↑August 27th, 2024, 5:19 pm I've played four Mike Stranz designed courses (This one, Stonehouse, Royal New Kent, and Tobacco Road), and he generally GIVES you the fairway; they're expansive to say the least, putting a premium on approach shot making. The real course defense are the severely undulating greens. You got Tobacco Road pretty accurate, but the greens on this course are quite tame by comparison.
(... switching to another post dated September 2021 about Kinloch Golf Club) ...I decided to revisit it and possibly release it Spring 2022, making it my 1st course for public consumption. I did notice that another member, PMGOLF, is working on it also. Not trying to step on anyone's toes, but I'm going to press ahead and hopefully produce something that can be enjoyed by all.
How about being the bigger man and release your claims (?) to the course? You've played it, and you say you liked it - why in the world would you want to keep it from being developed for Links by someone else so others can enjoy it too?
