THE TOURS

Post by Jimbo »

1. Congratulations to Tommy Fleetwood-it's long overdue and well-earned. We Canucks remember him as he watched Nick Taylor become the first fellow-citizen in what seemed like history to win the Canadian Open...
...which brings us to...
2. While Tom was winning his first, Brooke Henderson was busy winning her second LPGA CPKC Canadian Open at Mississauga...and thar RBC shoulder patch really stands out. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
And well-done to Legends Stewart Cink, winner of the Ally Challenge at Grand Blanc and Becky Morgan who won the USGA Legends US Open in San Diego.

Meanwhile RBC has agreed to a multi-year extended sponsorship of the Canadian Open (or as we call it the Greater Toronto Open).
Now if they can only find a way to "bring it to Canada" like the Ladies and Legends (and yes I know where Mississauga is but still...)

Nice to see them using Mississagua again, (Mississauga with the extra u). They used this as a PGA Canadian Open venue six times including 1965 where Jack was runner-up, as the Canadian Open was the one championship that eluded him.. I caddied there summers as a teenager in the mid-70's, beautiful course.
