Although the setting is the Cedar Brae Club in northeast Toronto, the Shaughnessy does get a bit of a mention...as well as a possible solution to its problem. The Point Grey Club is just east of Shaughnessy but not on Musqueam land (There's a Musqueam course next door to Shaughnessy). For Shaughnessy to build a new course the cost would be prohibitive-even for the well-heeded membership-to acquire land within a day's drive of Vancouver.
