Thomas, you switched my score with Des. He shot 63 and I had a 64 (it's the dwg vs. dko thing.)

What a difference a week makes, and less wind, and less yards, and an eagle and 3 chip-ins. Managed a 63
Not working tomorrow should get the round in much earlier .....

Great start with a 61. Should be an interesting week between us.

I was not so happy with the front 9 as I had two bogies, 6th and 8th - the bogey 6 on the 6th really hurt.
The back nine also had two bogies, 12th and 16th.
The four bogies were frustrating because they were caused by my lack of concentration. On the 16th I played the wrong club and as I don't have a caddie, I have nobody to blame.
Even allowing for the bogies I carded a very pleasing 32/30 for a 62.
Now, if only I had made par at the four ................

I also shot a 62, but definitely not with four bogeys on the card. Wow!
My main highlight was that my drive on the par 4 15th stopped three inches from the cup! Would have been my first par 4 ace after all these years of playing...
Also amazing is that for the second straight time, the recording got through in one take!

Alas I had one of those days when my play was just that little bit off, typical story of leaving the second shot a little short and putting too much pressure on the putter to yield birdies, which rarely works. So started off fairly average and did not rise much above that. There was 6 birdies but they were overshadows by 3 birdies, all my own fault through less than stellar play and thus poor execution.
The poor shots were mostly around the greens, they cost a few strokes.
34/33 for a 67. Today I did not have a magic run on the back nine.
Still given my recent standard any under par score is welcome.
It may not have helped that I have been giving Sage's latest creation some test runs on Linux, different mouse techniques required there when using RTS.

WOW! Yesterday a 3 on #13 and today a 3 putt on #13 .... 3 under on the front and just lost it for 3 over on the back ! Even par 70 ... So much for great scores for me! Ugh

Oh well, having fun with new Pro Distance, although you don't need it on this course on 6800 something
