SGC,

When I thought about it, I came to the same conclusion, no need to touch the score at all, it is only if you compare it to par you change just that number.

Par is just a reference number.

That was a more enjoyable round than Doral.
I played the practice round first, with the pin positions from last years final round, and then directly played the first round. A double bogey on hole 3 irked somewhat but otherwise I enjoyed the round.
Out in 35 and home in 34 for 69. A 3 under par, and don't anybody try to reduce that to a two under. :nono:

I don't know about practice makes perfect, but it certainly helps to play better.

SCG, I was confused about how to adjust the score as well but didn't mention it good to see we've got it figured out!

Ian, great start to the tourney!

My first round started well enough, missed makable birdie putt on #1, made long birdie putt on #2, 3 putt bogey at #3, then birdies at 5, 7, and 9 to go out in 33, back nine started with what would have been a 3 putt bogey but for us a 3 putt par, birdies at 14 and 15 before almost in the water left of the green but the rough held it up to come in with 34 shots for 33-34=67!!! 11 fairways, 14 greens, 29 putts, left a few putts just short or might have been 3 shots better. Hope the rest of the tourney goes the same way.
