Links PGA Tour 2026 - Cadillac Championship

Welcome to the "Links PGA Tour" where we simulate the conditions of the PGA Tour. **We select the green speed and Pin positions with the courses we have in the data base, to give you the feel of playing along side the Pro's. ** All holes are played from the back tees.

I hasn't played the course and so I did a non-tournament round. The first thing you notice is the PA announcer calling out the next group on the first tee...genius! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

One other (hopefully) minor issue is the inclusion of tournament objects in the "non-tournament" mode. I'm referring specifically to the grandstands. The real-life "Tournament Setups" also include many more grandstands and a relatively new object is the "remote" TV tower behind every green. The PGA "Tourcast" link gives you the "real" picture but the grandstands are only tournament objects. Even the famous "Bull Ring" at Phoenix is only a temporary structure and is gone for the other fifty-two weeks. I'm not an APCD'er so I don't know how difficult an issue that would be.

If anybody is considering another version of a "Tour" course, just a little something...

And although almost all of the Real Courses are Private or resort or less than 7,000 yards and never host a tournament, it's always a good idea to check the LPGA and Senior tour calendars...you never know...especially in Canada, where although the PGA Canadian Open is strictly a Toronto event, the LPGA moves around the country. I asked Bob Weeks (one of Canada's most famous golf (and curling)) experts about this...apparently it costs more for Golf Canada and TSN to set up the {GA event than the LPGA event, so they keep the PGA "close to home"-go figure...

Just my two cents (Canadian)...and since it looks like the penny is going out os production it looks like we'll be talking five cents (Canadian)...4 cents US!

One and two cent coins were abolished here many years ago, some want to abolish cash completely. I hope there is a failure when they go to buy something with only a card to use.

Round 1 started out well enough, missed easy birdie putt on #1, 3 putt bogey at #4, finished 1 over 37 for the front 9, back 9 started with not 1 but 2 water balls! for a triple bogey 8! birdie at #12, pars until another watery adventure on #18, one off the tee and the other through the green into water for another triple bogey 7! to come back in in 41 shots for a Jim-like 37-41=78 6 over par :( 10 fairways, 14 greens, 34 putts. I'm lucky I haven't been kicked off this tour with my scores!
