Hey Pinseeker & Doug,

Can I catch a ride with you to Copperhead?

Round 2 went pretty much like my whole season so far, played M/F but not challenging, if I had I might not have broke 100! Snap hook off the tee at #2 into trees, OB, sand and finally got off the hole with a 10!, 3 putt bogey on 8 to go out in 42, bogey at 11, kept missing birdie putts by less than 1 foot, got to #17 waited for wind to die down just a little bit, hit 8 iron to 17 feet, rapped the putt up the hill into the hole for birdie, finished with 36 on the back nine for a 6 over par 78, 74-78=+8 missed the cut. Hit 9 fairways, 10 greens, 31 putts.

Thanks guys! But Shane Lowry caught me before I left and we stayed up late with a bunch of Guinness, never again, I swear!

OK, I lied. Although I said that I would leave this course in my rear view mirror, I am stubborn. I decided to get the pro distance mod and was able to get it to work with some help from Gator because of my faulty computer literacy. :tiphat: After fooling around with it a bit, I decided to replay (and record) round two using the conditions set forth by SCG. I shot a 68!

Now, to be honest, there was some luck involved. I slammed an 11-footer in for bird on that ugly hole 3 pin position (miss that, and I'm probably headed for a 6) and made another tricky 11-footer for par on 4 after plugging my drive in a fairway bunker and having to pitch out. But with the added distance I was near or on all the part 5s in two and birdied all of them.

I don't know how to convert the Links .rec file to post on you tube so am unable to share. But it is a lot of fun to hit clubs so much farther.

:clapping: Very cool, Good round Doug. I only use the Pro Mod for my driver and 3w. I can't use it on my other clubs, it messes with my distance control.
:bookh: On Recording game. I have Win 11. In my Settings is a section called Gaming and there is a screen capturing program. I'll record my round, then edit it with and old school windows Movie Maker (any video editing will work). From there I upload to my YouTube site. :cheers1:

I don't remember how I got where I woke up after drinking Guinness with Shane Lowry, since I missed the ride with Pinseeker and Doug, I played Sawgrass with the weekend conditions and fared a little better. In the round 3 conditions I went out in 33 and came back in 36 for a 3 under 69. The round 4 conditions were a little easier as I eagled #2 and #16, but a couple of loose approach shots yielded bunkers and bogies, went out in 35 and came in 35 for a 2 under par 70.

Onto Innisbrook.
