How to modify the sound of ball-club impact ?

Post by nicodaft »

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make the impact sounds more realistic when hitting the ball with the club?

I've seen a note referencing some replacement predefined.ssf files that they are not to be use with Powerstroke or RTS swing types.

This will not effect your swing in any way. All you will be doing is changing the WAV, that will be activated by your swing.

Just to let you know, I'm a virgin. I've never shared files like this b4 :fcrossed:
Hope I did this right. Here is a DL link. It's the four wavs that will be transfered into the "LINKSND" folder

The zip file is good.

I think 5 Wood may have been referring to your predefined.ssf file though rather than the custom waves.

If when you play your game you hear sound like hitting trees, water, club strikes (game sound effects).... you have your own predefined.ssf file and it's sitting in your Main Game file.
:bookh:
After changing the wavs in the "LINKSND" folder. You open the game/sound options/ edit predefined.ssf....the game loads the wavs inside the "LINKSND" folder. You turn right around and save as predefined.ssf / Back out of game and relaunch, new wavs will be in your new predefined.ssf file :cheers1:

Hello South Citygolf,

thank you so much for sharing your sound files. The exchange is easy.
I've also been looking for other club sounds, but haven't found anything suitable.

Thanks again and best regards,
