A couple of years ago my computer crashed and I had to reinstall. Unfortunately one of my CDs didn't load-it had the courses for:
St. Andrews New Course, Hapuna and Covered Bridge
But looking through the Country Club Microsoft store (I promise to order some) I notices that there was one missing...The Judge Course at Capitol Hill.
Is this the same course as Robert Trent Jones G.T. - Judge (2003)?
I'm 99% sure that it is.
And I learned that CDs can break...so much for digital technology!
It last appeared in the Links 2003 championship edition and extension course packs.
Yes CDs can fail, memory cards can fail etc etc, no technology is 100%, evene large redundant storage arrays, which I used to work with do not go to 100%, 6 9s yes but no higher and that cost serious coin to do that
I have multiple backups of the courses I have, so what of the use of a bit of disk space. As I have Links on multiple machines I have a copy of all courses on each ready to load as desired.
