Re: Look What I've Been Up To

I finally finished up the course I was working on and took it for a test drive in my game. These are the first ever screenshots of game play in my game to be seen by anyone but me or my family. It's not much yet, but it's what I have so far.

BLOSM Tool for Blender

Designers, I had to share this with you as I've been testing it. For the price this is an absolute no doubter tool for you to use when building courses. The time and work it will save you is almost immeasurable. These two screenshots are of the exact same view of the course I'm working on in my desi...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To

Hi Big, How are you going to market this new golf game? How much is it going to cost? Do you have a demo you can release? I'd love to try it out and beta test the designer. It looks from the images to not be complete. Do you have any screen shots of actually being on the course or are you not that ...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To

JC, I am wondering if any of the work you are doing could have any application in Links, probably a wild thought but hey always worth asking. Des Not sure what you mean Des. I've tried for almost 3 years to crack/break/hack Links. I've tried to create a .PIN editor. I've created a replay manager th...

Re: Lost Marsh Golf Course

Here is a screenshot of Lost Marsh lidar. This is exactly how it looks after the import. You can even see the Amoco/BP distribution center container marks on the surface across the street. This will definitely be in my group of Indiana courses that I knock out.

Re: Coming Soon!!! AniFactory

Des, I promise I will eventually tackle all these AniFactory suggestions/issues, but I just don't have the time to go down that rabbit hole right now. Once I get my game out then I will circle back to AniFactory and give it the attention it deserves. It at least allows the community to create Anis t...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To

Linkster, So glad that you replied as the resident LC lidar expert. I'll admit that you inspired me to dig into learning lidar and man am I thankful. I think the biggest differentiator my game will have over any other golf game is the import lidar feature. The problem with APCD and PGA 2k25 is that ...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To

I promised some screenshots so here they are. This is in the course designer. This is of my home course and it's a lidar import using the process I mentioned above. You can see some of the other courses I've imported in the course list on the left. I was working on the designer tonight, but I will g...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To

Howdy Gents, Bear2016 reached out to me on PM the other day asking about some Anis. That kind of forced me to stop what I was doing and check in. I haven't been to the site in over 4 months, which might be the longest stretch I've gone without visiting in a decade. I see there are a lot of posts I n...

Re: Coming Soon!!! AniFactory

I can see one way around the problem dko had with making a mistake. I think it would take AniFactory being able to save a file with the user selections in it, then being able to import it later and make changes, so if you like a golfer specification file, a CSV type file would probably do it. At th...
