BLACKSTONE NATIONAL

Post by Jimbo »

Does anybody remember Bob Fournier? He did some courses back in the 2K1 days. I was doing an "inventory and housecleaning" of my courses and came across Blackstone National.
Amazing piece of work-and a good clubhouse to boot (as well as a mysterious red building).
Check it out.

Jimbo,

It was interesting to read your post on the old "Blackstone National" golf course originally created for Links by Bob Fournier. I have that course on my hard drive and it would be great if someone was interested in bringing the course "up to par" for Links 2003! :clapping:

I visited the course website the other day...there might have been some reporting but he did a remarkable job-especially with 2K1.
He did a beautiful clubhouse and included the mysterious "Red Building".😃🤔

He did a few fictional courses too.
All-in-all he was (is?) a fantastic designer...probably thought the we no longer exist...maybe he'll stumble across us again.

Either that or he's part of the group they call "Sage". 😉
