Just started watching my APCD videos

Memory loss is a strange thing, and being taught by yourself feels so weird! How can this person who is me know things I don't?! :scared:
Probably 50% of what I've watched so far has felt like being re-acquainted with an old friend, and when I joined Links Corner again, some memories returned, but I'd swear the other 50% in these videos is completely new to me. Most of the basics and the really important stuff had all been forgotten, (although I remember that I once knew that stuff after seeing the videos), but the really useful tip stuff and 'how I prefer to do things', I have absolutely no memory of ever knowing!! :dunno:
When I was making those videos back in 2012 it never crossed my mind for a minute that in the future I'd actually need to use them to learn the APCD!
Life can be very strange sometimes.

It's interesting that my memory problems were already showing up back then in my videos. My biggest scare with my memory so far happened last year. I was at a Mental Health Centre Open Day when a young lady called my name. I stopped and asked her how she knew me and she said she used to work for Mind and that I was her first assignment back in 2013, just a year after I made these videos. Apparently I saw her for an hour every week for three months!! :dunno: I was embarassed and frustrated at not remembering her or anything about it and thought if I stood there long enough talking to her the memories would come back. They didn't, and it shocked me so much I called my doctor that afternoon. I'm still waiting to see a specialist and I still don't have the slightest memory of her or any of our meetings. In fact I would swear that I've never had a Mind Mentor but I know I must be wrong. In fact I've already forgotten her name and what she looks like again since last Summer :wallbash: which is bloody annoying. I know she was very attractive and not the sort of person I would normally forget in a hurry, either back in 2013 or now!!
I've no idea what other chunks of my life may be missing either, or what may disappear next, which is quite scary. Unfortunately, all the crap from my life still seems to be crystal clear in my mind.

You aren't on your own Lez. My memory isn't good for some things. In fact I have very few memories from my childhood, which after counselling for the last 2 years, I can now understand. All I will say about it, is that my mum wasn't a very good one

I still use your videos every now and again to refresh how to do something. Will need to look at the adding sounds one again as I want this one to have some (borrowed from one of your courses  )

Lez... When you turn 60, there are three things that go at first. The first is your memory. I can't remember the other two.
