I'm no expert, but as far as I can see, the XPS 8900 has a Z170 chipset, and the XPS 8930 has a Z370 chipset.

Can anyone remember the player skills generator for creating new ani skill levels, and if there is a link to this. Thanks.

Go to Misc Add-On Downloads. Look under Links Computer Players. You'll find the spreadsheet I created years ago to rate computer pros using their stats.

Got everything up and running, but found the sky is not on display, but all sky files are installed. No sky but a large green background. Have checked graphic drivers in my laptop and all ok. I am just seeing a large dark green background with the words LINKS 2003.

Ray, did you every solve the problem with no sky showing? I had been away from Links for several years and just installed on my Dell laptop and have the same issue as you, even after installing the 1.07 patch.

See what the sky is set to in your Links Graphic Settings. Is it a sky you no longer have?

Several laptop users including myself have found the solution in the first post of the following thread to solve a bunch of graphical issues:

I believe skies was one of the issues it solved for me.
