Hello
I'm working on a new course
Lambton Golf and Country Club A Rees Jones design
I'm looking for a good texture pack for it
If someone have some ideas it would be nice
Here is a link : https://www.lambtongolf.com/Golf/Play
The 3D mesh is in good way
Thank you in advance

Hi LeWAW. You might want to look at these 8 Lez Marwick courses. There's a lot of decent textures to look at here.

This is the site that I was referring to on the other thread-the courses are practically next door to each other and with Islington to the south and Weston to the north it's Toronto's "Murderer's Row" of golf!

I lived in Etobicoke in the late 80's just down the road from this. I had no idea this gem was there, although I wasn't really golfing much back then. Thanks for working on this LeWAW!

This Club House is driving me crazy
I think I will spend more time to create it than the rest of the course...
But it's in the good way...

I love the clubhouse-I give it a 9.5 out of 10 (I don't want people to get complacent to 9.5 is as far as I go. )
There are a few things to consider from an ex-Torontonian who's slightly anal:
1. Forget what I said about Golf Advisor  -it hasn't been updated with the Rhys Jones redesign. The Google map of Toronto is more reliable.
2. There's a big apartment complex at the north end behind the third green. It's not directly adjacent to the course but it's big enough that you can see it from as far back as the second tee too.
3. The train tracks that run behind the eighteenth tee. You can't see them because of the trees but it's three tracks and is the major Canadian Pacific Rail line that runs from Toronto to Detroit (as well as Buffalo) so there's a lot of activity. I think that Sage has a train sound for Chambers Bay-it has a similar "problem"
4. If you haven't seen it (and I'll bet you have) there's a better video than the one on the club website. It's narrated by Jones and gives details and great videos of each hole.

...and that's why i try to avoid courses with very visible clubhouses :naughty:

Would love to do this course as it has hosted the British Masters.

I have the course tga in APCD, but the clubhouse is right by the first tee, and I don't have the confidence to go any further than the foundation.

Have a look in Google earth, the complete course is available with the street view system
It's the nirvana for a designer
