SCG,
A very thorough preview there, well done.
I have had one round already and the course feels more comfortable than Augusta.
August felt to me like I needed to be longer off the tee, long irons/fairway woods into the greens were troublesome, but to play any other way meant automatic dropped shots.

Ian,
The one that has been posted is Eddie's HD version ID # 2382.
I did a practice round at mc/mc trying a few things out and it played well. I'm looking to get a pitch shot working and was tying that. I did play a few draw and fade shots during my round and they worked well.

Gentlemen,
Thank you.
Harbour Town was always one of my favourite courses to play when I first bought Links or whatever the name was in 1999(?).
I will try to have a couple of practice rounds before Thursday.

The 1999 version was called Links LS 1999, with a picture of Arnie on the box. Powerstroke and the 3 click swing made their debut.
I have an original boxed version.

I see an ominous sign of a repeat of last week. Hot round with distance wedges and 80% of the putting was very good, a practice round under tournament conditions of 65, 8 birdies 2 bogeys - that is where the 20% of the putting was off, the side hill slope got me in both cases. I need to make some notes on a couple of holes, those two greens to start with and a couple of fairways you really need to be in the right position.
Still it is an enjoyable course. I had forgotten how good a job Eddie did with it.
Call it sacrilege but Augusta was never a course I really liked playing, certainly in the real world it has an aura.
