After years of no issues I had a crash back in the summer. I removed and reinstalled Links2003.

Win10 amd 580rx 12gb ram

no issues doing anything. Career mode works no issues.

But when I go to start just a basic round the game just exits the moment i click begin round. No errors, dumps or anything.

Happens every time. Regardless of courses.

Anyone? I can choose all the options but when I hit begin round it goes windowed and then crashes out. No errors no messages.

I'm way late with this, so apologies if you have resolved the issue on your own or in another thread.

Check your registry under New Game (I think, I'm running Linux, so I can't confirm where in the registry at the moment). It might give a clue as to the default player, sound, or sky file for normal games and that file might be corrupted somehow. You can just delete the entry in that registry key, or delete and/or replace the file on your computer.
