Gentlemen,
I have asked Andy to add the beta version of The Virtues Golf Club to the course database.

The Virtues Golf Club was designed by Arthur Hills and built in 1999 and is located in Nashport, Ohio, United States of America. The course is a public course with a par of 72 with the black tees stretching 7243 yards.

On the 10 November I contacted the golf club via their email address listed on their website, requesting permission to use the images of their yardage book as hole previews. To-date I have not received a reply. For this beta version there are no hole previews, but they will be added for the final version. I strongly recommend using the yardage book of the club which can be downloaded via https://thevirtuesgolfclub.com/wp-conte ... YB17v2.pdf

During my testing of the course, I have noted one anomaly which I hope a member can resolve. When I use my Lenovo all-in-one computer, running AMD Ryzen 5 5500U graphics, to play the course in Links the view from the 14th tee includes some distant trees which do not exist in APCD. On my Lenovo laptop, running Intel Core i7, graphics to play the course in Links, using DGVoodoo, the trees do not show.

I welcome all comments and I hope you enjoy playing this APCD rendition of the course.

The screenshots look great, Ian ! Looking forward to playing it. However , later this morning I'm having a procedure done on my right eye due to advanced macular degeneration, so I may not get to it for a couple of days. Just from the photos, it seems to have a similar overall appearance to an earlier course from you, Victoria National in Indiana, and I love that course !! I guess I'll find out.

Thanks for your work...............Ron

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your nice comments. :tiphat:

Ron,
I hope the procedure went well and that your vision is returned to normal.
The colour palette is certainly very similar to that of Victoria National.

Thanks again.

Ian
