Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Course

Post by sagevanni »

Here is my progress. It's going slow. I'm working on the perimeter seam blend verts for all the bunkers and some other prep stuff.

Hi Sage-I'm looking at the heading for this post, as well as your overhead...are you, by chance planning a "Double Header"? Both courses look fantastic!

...just wondering... :fcrossed:

With these two courses the number of courses that are in or could be in the Monterey/San Francisco area keeps growing.
Here are some courses I know of:
Pebble Beach
Carmel Valley
Cypress Point
Old Cypress (East)
Pacific Breaks
Spyglass Hill
Spanish Bay
Pasatiempo
Point Lobos
and coming in the near future will be Bayonet and Black Horse
I'm sure there are some more that could be added. Can you think of any?

Playing Harding Park is what made me think of courses in the Monterey/San Francisco area and because of my absent mindedness I left it of the above list. By the way Harding Park is a great course. Well done Eric!

You missed Poppy Hills, on an earlier rotation of the Bing Crosby Pro-Am.

Perhaps showing your age - what position did Wes Covington play?

Thanks for the heads up on Poppy Hills.
Wes Covington played left field (truth be told at 77 years old I had to look it up) I do remember Don Demeter in that timeframe
The Fightin' Phils should be fun to follow for quite a few years.
