Andy,

Did you get my data upload for Torrey North? I sent it twice.

Glenn,

I received the notification from WeTransfer and I have got the zip file OK.

What I do not have is the data I need for the course database, which has to be filled in using the form at the bottom of this page.

It might be that the form itself rejected the inputs - happened to me once a couple years ago or something. If I recall correctly, it was confusing because it never told me that anything had gotten rejected, it simply didnt display the usual next page that says something like "would you like to upload something else?" - which made me suspect that it might not have gone through. So I tried doing it again, and same thing happened. I managed to figure out that it was because I had tried to put a webpage link in the course notes - which is not allowed (it says no HTML allowed, but one might not pay attention to it after using the form a lot of times).

Perhaps it doesnt allow certain special characters either - not sure.

Just a thought.

Ideally, the form would notify more clearly that it wasnt sent if something is wrong.

Andy,
Each time I upload a course I make mistakes, every time without fail, it confuses the heck out of me. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
I thought it was just me, but obviously not. Is it possible to make it easier to understand?

I will admit that the course upload form handling is pretty basic and is mainly designed to foil hackers, bots and time wasters.

Having said that, this is the first time anyone has complained. :dunno:

I will attempt to make it a bit more friendly when handling errors.

Hi Andy,

I tried again, and it said it was successful. I'll again check tomorrow.

Thanks for all you do,
Glenn
