Isn't there setting somewhere you can pick up and go on to the next hole and take a max score, instead of having to finish out a hole with an impossible pin position?

Yes, but it gives you a 12.

I'm not sure I remember. I think it's on the tab that comes up after you hit the ball. I think it's along the bottom of the tab. I believe it's pick up ball.

I thought so too, but I do not show that option in my game. I know I remember seeing it before.

I checked and it's there. Just below rehit button and save shot button on POST SHOT SELECTION screen.

I had to deselect Postshot Auto Enable in the game preferences first.
