Courses missing in the course designer

I have an old Windows XP computer. It's sole purpose is to play the L2003 game - it is used for nothing else. Recently, I have been converting a lot of Links 2001 courses so that I can play them in L2003. then something strange happened - the courses did not appear in the course roster! I tried re-installing the Course Designer, but to no avail. I also tried to recopy the courses, but I got the message that they were already there. Can anyone help me with this?
