The Links program is here on my system

C:\Program Files (x86)\Links 2003

Sub-folders include 'CAREERMODE, COURSES, LINKSND, PolyAni, skies, WAVS

Mops and Players live here :-

C:\ProgramData\Links 2003

This folder may be hidden by default. You need to 'show hidden files, folders, and drives' in control panel's folder options.

Thanks to Bluenoser and Acrilix and others for providing this info on the old forum.

Armand created a spreadsheet for locating the various files depending on ones Windows version.

You can find it here.

Hi all
I reinstalled links running Windows 10
Only issue i have is my player is not in The game
I created a new player using my old name
No stats show up for him
Except in career play, all events won and monies show there
Can someone confirm where SEP, PHF and PIN should be placed
I had a look at the spreadsheet Armand provided
I'm not sure it's accurate
Cheers

My Pin files are in C:\ProgramData\Links 2003\Players. SEP and PHF in C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Links 2003\Career. Just like Armand's document says for Windows 10. I transferred mine a few weeks ago to a new installation and computer, and both the players and their stats carried over, so I can confirm it should work. Not sure what could have caused it to not work for you - you said you created a new player with the same name though - you should not need to do that - possibly if you created a player with the same name before moving in the files it caused a conflict?

Safest to not have Links running while moving files or folders.

I used your settings, the player did not appear in the game
The only way he appears is having the PIN in both the program data/players and documents/career
My program data is NOT hidden, perhaps that's why there is an issue
I could reinstall the game again from the discs and then add the saved files from my external hard drive
Thank you for your interest

Thats pretty interesting about the file in both locations. No clue why it would be like though. I doublechecked again and I have no PIN files in my Career folder.
