Pano Removal

Is there a way to change or remove a pano from a course so that it does not affect the course's texture properties? I removed one from a course, validated and saved, and the seam blends and everything else were misaligned. :dunno:

I've seen it posted by Danny D. that you should NEVER have the pano on and then pan around or any other kind of zooming......just turn it on to get a look...then off to look from another position......

Sage.....

Yea just dont enable the panorama showing in any of APCD's views, at least not during a validate and save.

If the damage has already been done, APCD's user.lib will remember the messed up properties, so if you're going back to an earlier save you need to reset (delete) the user.lib (save a back-up to be safe!) and restart APCD before opening up the old course save file. Also consider whether you have any textures (or mappings, I think) in your APCD library that arent present on the course, because those get lost with a user.lib reset. If you dont want to bother with any of that, going through all the "seam blend terrain properties" one by one and setting them back as they should be is another option.

Hi Chad. The scramble problem occurs when you have the PANO enabled when you save the course. I don't know of any way to stop that from happening. It's just another one of those "bugs" in the program. :dunno: Do you have "auto save" enabled in the APCD? If you do, it could be what caused the CRZ to be saved while a PANO was enabled. If so, disable auto save when viewing a PANO.

Hope that helps,

Dan
