Links 2001 Demo?

Links 2001 Demo is saying i have no 3d acceleration,
it's only running in software rendering and not letting me pick my intel HD 4600 graphics.
it's only running at 800x600 resolution 16bit color mode.

If you edit the registry (like you do in Links 2003)
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=478
and you can change the setting from hardware or software rendering. If you try it in the game you'll get error messages like what you encountered.
I believe that the highest resolution I could use was number 3, 1280 X 1024. Works great on my W10 laptop.

it's the demo because i just got full version of 2003 and after updates 1.7 it's working fine. thanks for your time though.
