Hopefully "my thing" will eventually evolve to start designing courses too. I'm looking forward to paying my own tributes to Stanley Thompson.
In the meantime I'm devoting special "nit picking" with my friends.
I've argued loud and long for this course...I would dare to call it "Augusta North".
My fellow Canucks are very familiar with it and the "people known as Sage"😉 are the best designers on this side of the pond.

Wow, this sounds like a great design collaboration ! I'm really looking forward to playing this one, when finished. I went to the official St.George website and looked at photos of the holes and layout. It looks gorgeous and seems to have several "undulating" fairways and challenging looking green surfaces. Plus....the showpiece clubhouse,of course. I wish all you guys the best in putting this gem together.

Just a quick peek, still lots to do. No real mappings yet and still have some work to do on this side of the CH, also the other side is untouched and I may be winging it over there. There are no real pictures due to the number of trees on that side.

You have my undivided attention! Behind the main clubhouse you just need to add the curling building/cart barn...basic rectangle.
But the front gets 9.5 out of 10 (I always leave a little bit of room!)😁
And you'll be getting my first very basic nitpick in a few hours.
This will be the Augusta of the North...I can hardly wait to write the intro-but I'm willing to wait until it's truly ready!
