I didn't "Drop" I teed off on the 15th hole on the older version of the course. Because no matter what I tried, I couldn't get the proper 15th hole to work. It was either that or withdraw. I painstakingly had to look at the holes to determine the proper pin placements. Please reasonable mate. It's a technical issue that caused all this with the courses. Not me. Lets playoff tomorrow. Me and you. Sudden death on 18 in Practice mode.

Sorry,"Drop" not the right word. Assess a one stroke penalty for playing a different course. Remember MICHAEL BRENNAN...? ...got DQ'd in San Diego for using a non-conforming yardage book.

Enjoy two weeks off and a tie. Besides, we can't playoff. Two different versions. Regular ver 1.07 and the Pro Mod 2.02. Great week. Keep an eye out for a posible course change before The Open. Take care Matt

"ver 1.07 and the Pro Mod 2.02" Are you talking about club distances?

I have an idea for a John Deere playoff so hear me out mate. Front 9 at TPC Deere Run Classic. You play the front 9 and after you upload the video, I play the front 9 LIVE on my channel. I'll include the footage of your play in my live video as it we are actually playing together at the same time. Same conditions and pin placements. No tricks. May the best man win. Takes just a half hour of our time. And a shoutout to your channel. I have nothing to do today anyway.

I logged in to post the first round pins for the U.S. Open only to find out that there was a new course. So I spent the next hour changing everything. Well the same thing might happen with The Open. Ian Wells mentioned that Linkster is working on a Updated version of that course. I have a PM out to Linkster. Hope to hear from him soon if he IS working on a new course and the ETA.

Linkster has said he is working on a new version of Birkdale, so I take that as a given. I would think timing could well be tight again.

That will be a nice addition. Until then Birkdale simplified 1.5 is a fine practice course to get ready for The Open
