Hot diggity dam, the putter was hot in the final round. If not for the missed shot on 17 this would have been a clean round. 5 under to finish the Masters, on to Harbour Town.

A beauty of a round Pinseeker!

I had a 69, which surprised me more than round 3. I thought it would be impossible to play at F(C)/F(C) at Augusta. I did practice on Coombs Mill at SCG's suggestion, and watched some of his round, but still had some qualms about even trying this. There were a few ridiculous saves (even bogeys) that kept me going, and enough straight in putts that saved the day.

It's a two-parter due to an unexpected need to take a break (getting old ain't no picnic.)

Was able to get on Augusta to get in round 4, might have ticked Sergio off as we were playing a little slow in front of him and Jon Rahm (LOL). Started with 2 pars, broke thru with a birdie on #3 and again on #6, double bogey from the trees at #7, finished the front 9 with a birdie to go out in 35. started with par at #10, double bogey at #11, birdie at #15, bogey at #16, finished with pars at 17 and 18. Missed 4 or 5 really makeable birdie putts or else this round would have been much better scoring wise. 12 fairways, 11 greens, 27 putts.

See you all at Hilton Head!

Jim

+10.
I over compensated for running off the greens yesterday and left everything short - except when I deliberately laid up.
8 GIR doesn't help, but I was more comfortable with the f/c green speed.
Thanks for the work you put in.
Ian

A +7 79, 4 birdies, but too many bogies and a couple of doubles

Found it to be a trying day, at least 4 lip outs, often could not hold a green with either the ball going off the back or rolling back off the front of the green, both on at least one occasion.

I would say some greens were close to being unplayable unless you happened to find the one or two spots that made for a makeable putt, i,e directly above or below the hole.

All in all a day to forget.
