Des,
So are you wanting to see an ani with sleeves to see what it looks like or build an ani in the AniFactory with short sleeves? I want to make sure I'm following you. My Justin Rose, Big Sexy JC and many others are examples of anis with sleeves. If you are wanting that as a possible texture I'll have to code that because it builds the arms on the fly with some skin tone matching. In order to add sleeves I'll need to make that a category possibility and add the textures. Let me see what that logic looks like.

I'm not sure I am with you.
I am talking about long sleeves down to the wrist and building an Ani in Anifactory to achieve this. To date I have been using the Russell2008 ani from Animasters to do achieve this, but can see with Anifactory I could potentially have an Ani like this but carrying a few more pounds and with a wide brimmed hat and glasses.

Ah, Gotcha. So that would be done in Maya vs. textures. The ones I've done have been to add sleeves as a texture like a long sleeve compression shirt like a lot of the PGA guys wear under their polos. I will tell you the dirty little secret about Russell2008. They had to stretch the sleeve of the short sleeve down the length of the models arm to get that to work and I was told by one of the original Animaters that they had to be very selective on the textures they used with that ani because if you mix colors or use the wrong colors you would notice the stretching. Now that I know how to re-map all the textures I might be able to pull that off. Not easy though I will tell you. Let me see what I can do in Maya.

Looking at Russell2008 I was thinking of a texture for the arm, instead of skin colour, that is just what it looked like to me. We do see a lot of those breathable sleeves here, because of our sun conditions, either way is fine by me it is just the long sleeve look I am looking for.

Des,
This is what I mean with the stretching. You can see if you use the correct texture like I did with the Keith Mitchell one it looks OK. Any stripes or design and you will see major stretching like in the Rico Hoey one.

JC,
I see what you mean.
I just took another look at Russell and it seems to use patterns for some shirts. It has a setting for shirt where it changes the shirt texture and has another setting for "Skin" which I think should say "Arm" that changes the texture for the arm from the end of the normal short sleeve to the wrist.

Putting the sleeves on with a texture is super easy. Here is my Jason Kokrak with the compression undershirt on. I have probably 20 anis with this type of sleeves. This would be the best option to add to the AniFactory because you don't have to worry about the stretching with certain shirt patterns. This might be where the confusion is.
Keep in mind that just because Jason Kokrak or Justin Rose has sleeves on with their versions that I made, they won't have sleeves if you use them as your model in AniFactory because the sleeves aren't part of the model. Those sleeves are just added as textures, but I don't have that as an option in AniFactory. I would have to create a model with sleeves to add to AniFactory, but it would be risky because if the person building the ani with that model chose the wrong shirts it would look pretty bad in the game (like Rico Hoey).

It is probably a simplistic though but I was just thinking that arms have a skin texture currently what if that could be set to have a different texture then any model could be used.
Like I said, probably too simplistic.
I think that it would be up to the user to come up with appropriate outfits, with the variety of current choices they can easily come up with something that does not look good. Hmm I've seen plenty of real golfers that could do with some taste.

Ahh I had not realised when you were talking about Anis with long sleeves you were talking about some of your created Anis.
While I think of it, your web site does not display on all my machines correctly.
For example this is a full screen view on my Linux notebook which has a resolution of 1366 x 768.
