I'm working on a fix.
In APCD it says nothing about rock in the textures or the seam blend properties.
I'm using a new seam blend to see if that makes a diff.
I've had this happen in other courses I've done.

OK guys,
Give this one a try. It took me forever to get it fixed but I think this will work. It happens to be a APCD quirk that would take a short book to explain.

I'll check it out first thing in the morning.
Thanks, Sage. Sorry to be such a bother.

Sorry, Sage. The seam blend from rock to whatever shows sand and it plays like sand. This is from the Final-1 file. Great course, BTW.

I've looked around that area on the new versions and can only find rough or fairway.
