Windows 11 Black Screen Crash Potential Fix

Hey guys,

It's been a long time. This Windows 11 thing has been driving me nuts and I finally found something that fixed the game for me - it plays perfectly, doesn't require voodoo or any other wrappers. It was as simple as running the game like this

"C:\Users\markh\Programs\Links2003\LinksMMIII.exe" /gosnojoystick

This does remove any gamepad functionality but I doubt many people use a gamepad anyway.

Please give it a try and let me know if you have success.

other flags I found

/gosnojoystick = Turns off controller/joystick support
/gosnoforcefeedback = Turns off controller vibration (rumble), keeps buttons/sticks working
/gosnosound = Turns off sound
/gosnovideo = Turns off intro videos/cutscenes
/gosusesw = Forces basic graphics mode (turns off hardware acceleration)
/gosdx = Used DirectX 7
