Des,
I found the NVIDIA control panel and set the NVIDIA processor as the preferred processor and restarted the laptop, but when I open Links in the Option, Graphics NVIDIA is not shown. I searched on the posts to see if there was a list of what the settings in NVIDIA should be but couldn't find anything.
As you said, it is not important for playing Links, and I don't play any other games.

Re: New South Wales Golf Club
These are the notes I have been able to capture on Nvidia use on Windows in the Windows system area
• Accessing Settings: Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics.
• Adding Applications: Click "Add an app" to select the application you want to configure.
• Specifying GPU: Click on the application, then click "Options" and choose either "High performance" (NVIDIA GPU) or "Power saving" (integrated GPU).
• Save Changes: Click "Save" to apply the changes.
I do not have a system to check this one.
I bought it up because if you can use Nvidia with Links you do not need a wrapper.

Des,
I did exactly as you described. With my inexperience with modifying computer system settings I may well have altered something that I shouldn't have done.
Thank you for your help.

Always welcome Ian, happy to help if I can.

Colin,
I am interested in if you have tried the DDrawCompat parameter I mentioned with NSW?

Only just returned from overseas. so will have a look again during the next week.
To be honest, I now think the "strip of texture" is a design issue that is not related to the wrapper.
I am hoping that the white bin on the 4th tee box holds the answer.

Completed: Golf Club of Houston (Redstone); Banff Springs 2025 (Thompson 18 and Tunnel Mountain); Mauna Kea 2024; Royal Sydney Golf Club (2025); New South Wales Golf Course (2026). Currently working on a real Scottish links course.
Re: New South Wales Golf Club
The white bin certainly stands out.
FWIW I could not get the problem to occur on a machine with Nvidia hardware and no wrapper or switching to the dgVoodoo wrapper on my notebook with its Intel GPU.
