I played a practice round today with Breezy Mc/Mc conditions and Moderate pins, shooting even par 35-35=70 was 2 under par early in the round with birdies at 1 and 3, but bogies later on the front nine, making the turn at even par, sank birdie putt on 10, drove into pine straw later, punched out and made 10 foot par putt, made a birdie midway on back nine before another bogey in the Bear Trap for an even par round. Was wondering about how the different pars was going to handled for our little fun play-along tournament, although the way I've been playing I'd rather not have to add a stroke to my score LOL.

Practice round with Koepka for the upcoming Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. Unfortunately due to a mild case of Diarrhea Brooks had to run off after the 13th hole. Good luck tomorrow buddy.....

Brooks was holding you back. Hard way to start the back 9, 5-5-5-5 and you were robbed on 17. I saw that breaking more hehe. GL in da morning

He was definitely holding me back  Yeah the back 9 started rough but I wasn’t concentrating either. GL in Rd1 to you too, anything under par would be a good score on this course. :cheers1:

First round in the books, more progress being made in Links, would like to complain about the course conditions as I saw an article about how the course has been made easier by overseeding the bermuda in the winter with rye grass and the fairways I missed were into Heavy Rough LOL.

Started with 3 pars, birdied 4, 7 & 8 with 1 bogey, out in 33, back 9 started with bogey, drove into rough, came up short of green, chip shot to 11 feet, missed par putt, birdied 11 & 14, bogeyed 17 and missed 15.7 foot birdie on 18 to come home in 35, adjusted to 36 for 33-36=69, 2 under par start. 9 fairways, 13 greens, 28 putts. Stayed dry, went into a couple sand traps.

Good luck everyone,

Jim
