Hi Sage, I did play a couple of rounds in practice mode. With all of those waste areas, it would be quite something to play in real life. The only issue I found in either of my two rounds when I was moving my ball around in different positions, was some textures defined as rough just on the edge between the green and fringe on the left side of the 1st hole past the greenside bunker. The course looks great and is quite a challenge with the greens having a fair amount of slope. Thanks for all of your hard work for our enjoyment.

For information I emailed Sage with what I could find, just a summary here.

I have had a round on both Windows 11 and Linux.

None of these appear to effect play, but as per my usual practice I have noted them.

Firstly let me say it has the usual excellent planting. You can certain not say that there is not enough sand, I did go off the beaten track and noted a couple of different sand textures.

There are some interesting wire fences in interesting places on the course.

All in all I have not found any great problems. I did note some issues with the blue tee markers, they were cut off on some holes:

- Left marker on Hole 3

- Left marker on Hole 7

- Right marker on hole 13

I did notice some slow rendering on my Gen 7 i5 system running Linux, definitely quicker on my Gen 11 i5 running Windows 11, which is also the machine with the dgVoodoo Wrapper, as it only has Intel graphics, but no problem there.

On a number of holes, Blue tees, there is an area at the edge of the tee that shows as dirt, I noticed it on most holes, it seems to be a transition area, perhaps just the wrong name on the texture.

Should the tee area show as Fringe? It is on most holes. On the other hand 4 shows as Fairway.

There are areas about the small bunker in front of Green 7 that are showing up as dirt or green, Saw that when I was on the green and retested the hole and can see it from the fairway. The green side of the rock face of that little bunker is one of the textures showing as green, there is another place in front of the bunker.

FWIW The "sand" courses I have played before have all been desert courses, and to be frank they are not my favourite type of course, this one however in a parkland setting I am enjoying greatly.

Hi everyone,

I believe I have addressed all issues mentioned and I've taken care of a few other things.

Should I release a second beta? There are some people I thought I'd hear from but have not......................

Boy, that's a lot of sand. Great job on the bunkers. In fact, everything.

I think the fact that we could only find bits and pieces of mostly insignificant issues shows how good the course is
