Is anyone using Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 with Links 2003 on Windows 11 ?

Have you got any real good friends that might let you install Links on their PC running W-11? I've got a Laptop running AMD Ryzen 7 and a desktop running Ryzen 5, both with video cards, and Links loaded and with a little massaging, compatibility-wise, it worked fine! Like you, I've been playing Links since the early 90's. Good luck!

Yes, I use it w/ my Radeon 5600 XT on Win11 x64 w/out incident. I run Links2k3 on my 4K monitor using mode 15 in the registry. Here's my Links 2003 reg. key if you need it or want to import it.The Dunster wrote: ↑December 2nd, 2025, 1:23 am Is anyone using Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 with Links 2003 on Windows 11 ?

John_iv is running Links in Windowed mode so that is something that could certainly be tried.
What might also be worthwhile trying is the wrapper given it is effectively substitutions some Windows DLL's.
It is a matter of initially getting Links to run at all then going from there. I would even be inclined to temporarily set the system resolution to something Links has support for. It is all a matter of trial and error and seeing what does and does not work.
I have a system that has a native resolution of 1368 x 768, Links will not run properly at this resolution on the system, some menu options do not display correctly, the golfer disappears, I have to run Links at 1280 x 720 where it runs perfectly.

I can run it in both. Just alt-enter to bounce between them. An interesting quirk of the AMD drivers at least for my older tier card is that if I start in windowed mode I do *not* get anti-aliasing. I have to go to full screen and then back out to have it stick in windowed mode. I badgered AMD for a year to get their drivers working w/ Links2k3, laugh, so I'll take what I can in its current state.
I set it up in the control panel w/ additional settings (attached). Basically forcing antialiasing and anisotropic filtering.

Didn't you say in your initial post that you had an Nvidia card? The Dunster wrote: ↑December 2nd, 2025, 1:23 am Is anyone using Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 with Links 2003 on Windows 11 ?
No matter where you go, there you are.

No I didn't. I said I had tried the Nvidia patch (as it use to work in the past with my 6600XT).GoBucks wrote: ↑December 4th, 2025, 11:57 amDidn't you say in your initial post that you had an Nvidia card? The Dunster wrote: ↑December 2nd, 2025, 1:23 am Is anyone using Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 with Links 2003 on Windows 11 ?

Can I suggest all those who cannot run the game message .... who is a member here. I don't know if he is still active but worth a try. He released a patch on Discord which makes Links totally compatible on every system. I don't know of a single issue with the patch it works. You don't need to do anything other than install the game any version of it and the patch does the rest.

What is this patch and what is it supposed to do?
