I do tend to get off the beaten track when I change machines (different rodents).
I came across this

Re: Hidden Valley Golf Club California
I may end up having to put a seam blend in certain places that makes those sharp edges look a little better.
Does anyone think it's necessary?

Sage, You do so much for work on these courses already, if there are a few problems in places a person shouldn't be on the course so be it.
If your hitting from the short stuff the course looks Beautiful. 99.9% perfect is good enough for me.

Obviously Sage takes comments some showing problems posters run into during playing the beta as on this course. Would be interesting to hear from Sage the tests that he puts in deciding if course looks and plays right to him before a release happens. Say he places practice ball at various locations on left side, right sight and beyond hole looking backwards. Also just how shots might play from a texture such as deep rough that he specifically has incorporated into thinking how a new course of his design should play.
SAGE, It is another couple of weeks until Andy allows posting of final. I would say wait and look through any other problems sent to you if in fact others might come in===then release final and go on to another course.

I take the position that if I see something I'll raise it, I make no judgement on if it should be fixed or not, especially when it is somewhat marginal as was the last piccy I posted, it is really up to the designer in such cases as to how far they want to take it.
I would feel as if I did the wrong thing if I was just to ignore something I see, it is not a judgement for me to make.

Dwg,
I am extremely grateful to the people that take their time to play the beta versions and then take their time to give their comments. Thank you.
Ian
I agree 100%, identify everything that doesn't look right to you and leave it up to the designer to decide. Personally if it's a mistake I will normally always correct it. If the comments are subjective I consider them and if I agree with the comment I make the change. The designer will always have the final word, and rightly so.I take the position that if I see something I'll raise it, I make no judgement on if it should be fixed or not, especially when it is somewhat marginal as was the last piccy I posted, it is really up to the designer in such cases as to how far they want to take it

Has anyone found ANYTHING that affects the play of the game on this course? Or anything you just can not live with playing this course?
Please email me with any issues from above.

Can't say I have.
I find it is a course that grows on you the more you play it.
