I think when they're chipping, it's fake grass too.
I've played a lot in france right here,where fake grass is everywhere, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2HE_g2m1P4 , and at the time, i didn't understand why they didn't create fringes on greens. Because, for example, when you're putting from off the green, the result is a beautiful ugly stair step
And what was my surprise when i saw the exact same thing on this 50,000,000$ project !!
This is not to criticize because compared to these great people in sport, I am nothing. I would simply understand why two course builders that I have seen have not both made a fringe on a synthetic grass green. Is there a technical reason? Or have TGL engineers never played the game of golf?
I would have been Tiger Woods and saw that on my first visit of my 50,000,000$ project, i would have been furious!
