Maybe I indeed misinterpreted BLI as cheating. When I think better, all other recent golf games have grid on greens, also with slope indicators, something that LS2003 doesn't have. So BLI is simply a different way to show the slope. I apologize.
In the other hand, I'm trying to simulate the golf, and what golfer see in real life. They don't have any break/slope indicators, they probably see a virtual grid when they are crouching to see the green breaks. But there is no way they have anything like a BLI, so that is why I, harshly said "it's cheating".
So now you guys know why I'm bad at LS2003, as I'm using 11 stint and no BLI. Only grid and green analyzer, that is practically simulating what golfer see when crouching (without the grid itself). But it's the best way to simulate real golf conditions in LS2003. Oh, and if you think that the best way is to simulate real golf conditions by disabling even the grid? Well, good luck. :)
And no, I'm not a rookie. I don't care about competing with people that score -10 per round. Yes, I saw some online championship tables. The scores are completely unrealistic comparing to real golf, and that is not what I'm chasing. AI to the rescue. :)

Re: How to find proper AI difficulty per course?
Hi , saw your discussion and thought ide ask an opinion of what i am experiecing on this subject of correct distance measurements while putting .
I was practicing on several differnet courses , and while doing so i added in a mulligans to get the hang of each turrain , but while doing so ,on the initial 1st putt the distance would be " say ' 10ft . And then i mulliganed , and measured the distance again.. and now its 13ft . What the @$%7# i was thinking , how did the distance change on a downhill slope . So each time i replayed the hole , the putting distance would chance , inches to feet in some cases. And its every game , and every course .It also happens with the Putting assist as well .
So , My question is Maybe you All can try and see if you have the same problem , but just dont realize its there . It may be a software issue i havent seen exist yet or addressed here . But try it and see if you get the same results ....

Which swing type are you using? Also, could you explain in a bit more detail what you did when seeing the odd results and how you measured these different distances? Im not completely sure I understand. Are you for example saying that the game in the post-shot popup said the putt had traveled 10 ft but when you measured with the aiming stick after a mulligan - with the mulligan ball left on-screen - it seemed like it had come to stop 13ft away? Or are you talking about different shots which are expected to travel the same distance but do not? Or are you talking about the referenced putting distances indicated on the swing icon before taking the shot? Or are you talking about using the easy swing type? Or something else?umanfly2boot wrote: ↑November 20th, 2024, 6:07 pm Hi , saw your discussion and thought ide ask an opinion of what i am experiecing on this subject of correct distance measurements while putting .
