Thank you, JC. I think I understand what you noted about the ratings; my effort to create an AI was to make four-round matches competitive between the two of us (with limited success, although our overall "tournament" results ended up being pretty close--out of 160 four-round matches over the eight-year period, I came out ahead in 78 of them, and there were nine ties--total course scores have often not been.)

It looks like what you do is set up some sort of multiplayer elimination tournaments involving AI's only, hit play and see what happens. While I have always been a numbers guy in real life, I can't approach your skill level or patience to compile all the data and conduct the analyses that you have. I only create Excel spreadsheets to track 2-player round and tournament scores. It is playing the game myself that gives me the most enjoyment, with a little competition on the side.
