Break meter inaccurate

I play Powerstroke elite and sometimes the break meter seems inaccurate. I was playing the seventh hole at Augusta. I was in the middle of the green putting back downhill 12 feet for par. The break meter said it broke sharply right to left, so I aimed right of the hole based on that. The putt went straight right and broke more right by the hole. It never went left and I was 27 inches for bogey.
