Hi
I currently have Links on a standard hard drive. I want to move it to a new SSD without loosing existing players and course stats. Do I reinstall or can current Links installation be moved?
Many thanks
Robert
Move Links to new SSD
Re: Move Links to new SSD
Hi Robert. I transferred the data on my hard drive to a 1 TB SSD more than a year ago, and it has run fine since. I used a program from EaseUS to do the transfer. I got the TB SSD because I wanted to put all the courses on the SSD. I haven't noticed much difference in speed with the SSD, but everything runs fine. FYI, it was a Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1 TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD.

Re: Move Links to new SSD
Hi Pete
I had cloned my old C: drive to the new SSD and created a new partition, but I had Links on a separate E; drive. I was not sure whether I could just copy Links into this partition. Anyway did just that and everything seems ok. As you say whether it makes much difference in speed is debatable!
Many thanks
