SCG,
Thank you for posting these tour events, I've not played Links in a few years save for an odd round very rarely the last few years, I was cheating on Links with PGA 2K21 on Xbox but they turned off the server for it so I can no longer play it and I haven't bought PGA 2K23, prefer playing NHL and Madden. I played Waialae last week and shot 71-71, presume that would have missed the cut. I downloaded the courses for The American Express, played PGA West this morning and shot an 80! Just like in real life it'll take a little bit to get back to knowing how hard to hit chips and putts in order to score better. I did have a question, last week I went to put in the pin positions and on one of the holes there were only 7 or 8 pins and it said 15 or 16 on the pin chart, I'm pretty sure I had the right course but don't remember which holes it was where I encountered this.
Thanks!
Jim

Well thank you Jim. Back when I played, there was a guy "
BillW" I think, that use to post the pins for the PGA events. I saw that nobody was posting them and thought some of you might like to set up your course, like I do, if it was available. I like to follow the pro's. It's all for fun.

As for your pins last week,

I took a look at Waialae Country Club 2019 v2 - rel. 2020-01-25 by Steven Lucey and Waialae CC 2021 - rel. 2021-01-05 by Tim Hagen. Tim's 2021 had all 17 pins each hole, Stevens '19v2 was all over the place. Some holes had 15, some only 8 it varied

. I'm thinking you might have had a older course or if when inputing the lower holes ie:7,8,9..16,17,18 , the dropdown box might not have shown all the numbers. should have had a little bar next to, to slide for other numbers.
Thanks again, happy to bring joy and renewed interest in Links.

Feel free to stop by my Youtube page
www.youtube.com/@Southcitygolf . I wanted to create a "Links Corner" of Youtube so players can see if they would like to download and play a given course and it allows me the opertunity to showcase hidden gems that would otherwise be overlooked.

SCG,
I think I was using the Steven Lucey course so I'm not crazy LOL! I enjoy following along with the pros and its fun to watch the coverage and see the holes that I played.
Jim
PS-I don't know if you like Fantasy Golf, if so Jimbo has a Fantasy Golf league, if free and fun to play, you pick 4 players and 2 alternates and 1 captain each week. You can only pick a golfer 3 times in each of the 3 segments of the season. The golfers get points for pars, birdies, eagles, etc. kind of similar to Stableford scoring. Below is from his 19th Hole post about the league

You can join more than one league.
The PGA has also just put out a mobile app, but I haven't checked out yet.
Our group is called Gary's Players.
COME ONE COME ALL!
