I recently downloaded these files and installed them as normal.
When I ran in test on the modified file ( the one with extra clapping) I found it was empty.
Had anyone else experienced the same problem?

I assume you already made sure to select it in the Options > Sound menu. Did you test it in Practice Mode perhaps? I dont think soundscripts play in that mode. Otherwise I dont know, havent used that file personally.
