I just loaded my course into Links for the first time to play it. What should look like curved edges of fairways, sand traps and greens look like straight sided polygons instead of smooth curves. I was changing the edge settings of polygons to 4 as I worked. Some of the shapes reacted to the edge setting as I worked on them. Some did not. I'm guessing there might be an overall setting I don't know about?

Those edges should all be set at 0. Very few things on the course will want to be set to 4. About the only thing might be edge where land meets water, and any 3D work like buildings.
