Hiya ....,

Do you know ALL the files in the root APCD directory that have to do with or interact with "objects".....?????? Meaning when a new object gets added......what are all the files that update when a new object is added...??????

Hope I didn't overstate the question.......LOL

No! lol
Work nights and we have 2 drivers for safety. I’m in the passenger seat right now screwing around on my phone. Remember I’m in Australia, left side is passenger. 👍

Just speculating but from my understanding the relevant files are
-object.lib
-the .btx file of the object, located in the appropriate object category folder within the Object folder
-the .tga file in the Object\TGAs folder
-the .PTS planting set file(s), I believe PTS files dont need to be located anywhere specific.
-any topview .top file assigned to the object in the TopViews folder within the Object folder

Considering default APCD objects dont seem to have any TGA files, Im unsure if the TGA files within the TGAs folder are technically necessary unless wanting to alter the object in the future but I would personally assume they are if wanting to be safe. Possibly topview's respective TGA files are also involved. Plant set files arent directly having anything to do with individual objects but still practically relevant.
Finished Courses - Main: Amedal (fictional), Nine Bridges (real)
Other: Austin, Sheshan, Kauri Cliffs, Le Golf Nat. Updates: Whirlpool, Royal Lytham, Royal St George's, Chicago, Chambers Bay, Munchen Nord E
Working on: 2 fictional courses + a couple things...

I've never paid attention to which file are getting updated, but if I wanted to know that, I would do a screen capture of the folder and its files with the time & date showing, and then go to the APCD and plant a few objects and save it, and then do another screen capture and compare which files have the present time showing. That should tell you what files are being written to and updated...
