Coomealla, Pros Edition

Post by AJ Allen »

I'm hoping to upload this weekend (beta). This is Coomealla done a little differently. The way I personally wanted to see it. There are a number of changes to the original. Some of those changes are...

*More 3d and building work (and a pool which still needs some work with tiles, fence, planars)
*Few textures modified
*Some ponds and irrigation ditches though mostly those are not in play.
*Some tees moved to give more interesting teeoffs
*New plantings
*Redone greens, some enlarged and different pin placements on some of them
*Bunker work, few extra ones, and reshaping of others

Quite a few other things that I don't remember right now.

Overall, I wouldn't say it plays any harder. Maybe easier in fact. But this is just something I did for my own personal satisfaction. But of course I hope people enjoy playing it. Anyway, a few screenshots of the course, with a few taken from spots you probably won't find yourself in during a normal round.

Cheers, AJ

I was hoping to upload a version of this over the weekend. Bit of an unexpected turn of events came up... I had organised a round or two with my best mate to iron out any little things that need doing on the course. But on Sat morning his brother got a call to go into hospital for a heart transplant! He has been on the waiting list for many years, and there wasn't much hope of ever getting a heart... in fact they took a "bucket list" trip end of last year as it looked like it might not hold out much longer.

But, he got the call, 14hrs operation and came thru well apparently. So of course too many things to think about other than playing a round of golf lol. But once we can get those practice rounds done then it will get uploaded.

Cheers, AJ

Yes it is great news. But it also makes you think, or at least it does for me. Somebody had to die...was the donor a he or a she? A good person? How would it feel to know somebody elses heart was beating in your chest? I would find it really unsettling. I guess Marty will as well, once he recovers and is on his feet.

Cheers, AJ
